Huong Nguyet Trang was born in China in 1922. She moved to Vietnam in 1948 and then migrated to the United States in 1979. She grew up in a very poor farming family so she worked very hard to earn a living. She was the sweetest, most caring, and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother to 60 children. She loved to travel and frequently traveled to places like Hong Kong and China in her youth. She had a playful nature about her and always had a smile on her face. We will never forget her laughter and pure joy she had with each new addition to her family. We can always count on her to go above and beyond to make sure that everyone was well taken care of and she never hesitated to take care of her grandchildren while her kids went to work. She was the center of our family and was lucky to always be surrounded by such loving family members who were gladly willing to return the favor of taking care of her as she got older. All of us can say that she had a hand in shaping who we have all become. She will be deeply missed and will live on through many memories we have of her.
