I missed so many wonderful years with my Grandpa Gino....I'm thankful that I was able to meet him, and be blessed by his life for the last 6 years. I can only imagine the man he was prior. Thank you grandpa for the wonderful stories, and catching me on a life with you, that I never knew! I love you dearly, and miss you greatly. Thank you again for touching my life in the way you did! Papoo, was my  grandfather! everything i remember about him from when i was a little boy was soul touching and very heart felt. like a dream we remember from long ago, he fills my memories with "Good times". Although my time with him was small, his impact on my life even today was "Gigantic"!
I will forever remember those precious and heart felt moments with him, and i am grateful that he was able to meet his great grandson.
But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel. and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Papu was a grandfather every one should have. He was a man that changed you just being around him and Everyman should aspire to be. If I look back on my life, and I have become half the man he was, than I have done well. I only wish I could have spent more time around him and learned more, but I will forever have his stories (he had a bunch) to keep his memories in me alive. I love and miss you Papu and am happy you are in a better place. Keep a glass of vino ready, ill be wanting another story when we meet again. Until then... Love Mark Guidi

Papoo was definitely one of a kind.  He was a gentle sweet soul who always had something nice to say about everyone.  My life has been touched by his kindness to me and my children.  We will all miss him so much but I know he is in a better place now and no longer suffering.  We love you Papoo.
