Francisco Bellot Gutierrez was born to the late Francisco Gutierrez and Rosario Bellot Gutierrez on November 17, 1952 in Santiago Papasquiaro, Durango, Mexico. He immigrated to San Jose, California in 1957 but always remained proud of his roots in Durango. He married Maria Auxilio Avila in 1971 at the age of 18.
In his early years, he enjoyed car rides with his family down El Camino Real where they would often stop and pick cherries. As he continued to grow he became quite social and found great friends. He enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, and customizing cars. He was well known as an avid bodybuilder.
Frank was the epitome of a patriarch. He was a provider and protector. Frank had a successful career at Del Monte Cannery where he started as a mechanic in 1968 and retired as a supervisor in 2000.
His family was his greatest source of pride and joy. Frank, together with his wife Maria, hosted weekly Friday dinners where his children and grandchildren gathered to eat, play and take part in Grandpa’s bolos.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maria Auxilio Avila Gutierrez, his sons Franky (Thancy) and Adam (Marina) Gutierrez and his daughter Theresa G. Ruiz (Juan). He also leaves behind the joys of his life, his grandchildren, Crystal, Christina, Franky, Andrea, Miliana, Adam and Ella.
Frank is also suvived by his sisters, Esperanza Carrasco (Hector), Rosalina Gonzalez (Federico), Lupe Mejia (Francisco), Pina Lopez (Tony) and many nieces and nephews.
