Emma Sanchez

Emma was born on November 9, 1954 in Cebu City, Philippines to parents Candido and Soledad Sanchez, who predeceased her. She grew up in a large, loving family with three sisters and two brothers.

Emma is survived by her 2 children (Irish Asprer and Ivan Ferrer), son-in-law (Steven Asprer), 2 grandchildren (Isabel and Stella Asprer) and former husband (Florante Ferrer).

She enjoyed being an active member of the Voices of Faith Choir (VOFC) at Christ the King Catholic Church and in CFC Handmaids of the Lord (HOLD) in San Jose, CA.

On Thursday, May 16, 2019, a visitation for Emma will be held from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Oak Hill Funeral Home, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA. A rosary service will start at 6:30 PM. The vigil service will begin at 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

On Friday, May 17, 2019, a funeral service will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Christ The King Catholic Church, 5284 Monterey Road, San Jose, CA. The burial service will occur from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA.
