Eleanor was born and raised in Los Banos, California, the youngest of six siblings, she survived her brothers Roy, Dallas “Buck”, and Jim, and her sisters Lula and Molly Jean.
Eleanor moved to San Jose in the late 1940’s and lived and worked in San Jose until retiring from Memorex Corporation in the late 1980’s after which she moved to Los Banos and Paradise, California. She was a resident of Westgate Villa, San Jose, 2016-2018.
Eleanor was married to Jesse Clark McCoy in 1950 and was widowed in 1962.
She married Ralph Chester Britton in1980 and widowed again in 2016.
Mother of Jim Arnett McCoy (deceased) and Daniel Steven McCoy.
She will be laid to rest next to Ralph Britton in the Parkview section of Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose, California.
