Our beloved mom, grandma and Nana passed away peacefully at Belmont Village in San Jose on January 25, 2018. She was born in San Jose, CA to John and Margaret Burton. She was the eldest of three children; both brothers preceded her in death. Her husband, Julian Ortiz, of 54 years preceded her in death in 1999. Pat had 4 children: Bob (deceased) (Anne): Barb (Chuck–deceased); Rich (Jan); Deb (James); eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Pat was a secretary in her early days and then became a home maker for most of her life. She loved to read, golf, bowl, watch TV and watch her grandchildren. Pat was the kindest person and will always be loved and missed.

Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Saturday, February 3, 2018 between the hours of 9:00 am and 9:00 pm. Services will held Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 10:00 am in The Drawing Room followed by Burial at 11:00 am and Reception at 11:30 am. All functions will be held at Oak Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Vitas Hospice.
