Diane grew up in San Mateo and spent most of her life living in Foster City. She graduated from Aragon High School in 1972 and then attended the College of San Mateo for a short time. Thereafter, she started working full-time. She spent many years in the freight forwarding business, and at one time owned her own company, Oasis Cargo.
Diane was kindhearted and had a love for animals, especially dogs. In addition to her 5 dogs (Queenie, Kilo, Gizmo, Costello, and Ernie), she also fostered dogs who were awaiting a forever home.
Diane is survived by her brothers, Bryan and Rickey, in addition to many relatives and friends.
Due to the pandemic, there will not be a public memorial service.
For those who wish to do so, in lieu of koden, the family requests donations to The San Mateo Buddhist Temple (https://sanmateobuddhisttemple.org/), Furry Friends Rescue (https:///www.furryfriendsrescue.org), or Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA (https://phs-spca.org).
