Danny passed away peacefully on April 17, 2013. A lifelong resident of San Jose, Dan is survived by his loving wife Rhonda Vazquez of 34 years, his daughters and sons-in-law, Amber and Lee Meadows, and Nicole and Brandon Murphy, along with his siblings, Annette Vazquez Mikkelsen and Joseph Daniel Vazquez. Dan entered heavens gates to celebrate with his father Manuel, mother Isabel and brother Steven.
Dan loved the open road and was a truck driver for many years. For 18 years he devoted his leadership talents to Sims Metal as Transportation Supervisor for Northern California.
After years of fighting cancer, we dubbed him “5x Undefeated World Champion Melanoma Survivor, Dan “The Mighty Victory” Vazquez” and we his family, were his biggest fans.
