Miss you friend !
I last saw Craig about 10 days before he died...
On my way to the shop, I'd seen a homeless person  on who had passed away on Santa Clara Street. I wondered about his life. Sitting at the stoplight , Ipondered the fine line between life and death,  and how much we all missed Peggy. 
When I arrived at the shop ( a block later) I had obviously been crying. Although Craig had a pained look on his face that I had never seen before, I half took it to mean: " silly girl, please stop crying ".. But he hugged me and asked if everything was ok..
I had asked him the same thing a couple times recently . We had both said : " yep", but seeing me cry, he hurriedly  backed away to put his head under the hood of a car..
 We joked about the fake exhaust on Frank's friends motorcycle.. .,
And I bought us an ice cream from the peddler.  Craig kinda joked about me tipping the guy, and I said" hey friend, no matter how bad it gets, at least we're not pushing a cart on the hot pavement "!
Miss seeing you, and I know you're up there laughing at us trying to explain car stuff to someone new.
But there will never be another YOU.
God keep you until we see you again.

I am in shock! I had no idea my old friend from high school had passed away! So, here I am almost a year later sending my condolences to his wife and children. Craig always showed care and concern. Among his friends, he always stood out as a gentle and quiet spirit. I never mistook this as weakness, but  strength that followed him into manhood and all the rest of his days. We reconnected after almost thirty years on Facebook where our friendship was rekindled by our memories and common interests. His kindness and grace shined through still to me after so many years. May you rest in peace Craig, and I will see you again in paradise my friend. I will keep praying for your wife and children.

I went to school with craig and he was in our group of close friends. I am saddened by this news. I just found out today. I wish I knew soon enough to be there to show my respects. I hope time has helped ease your pain. I am truly sorry for your loss. Marcy DiDenti-Archambault

So terribly sorry to have learned about Craig's passing just today.  Like others here, I was a Craig's customer and he was a man I trusted fully to give me honest answers, a fair price, and dependable service - every time.  More than that, we shared an interest in cycling, and we'd talk at the shop.  I would share my latest cycling adventure, and Craig would tell me about his weekly routine, and I was blown away by how much riding and what an avid cyclist he had become.  You'll be missed, Craig, and I offer my deepest sympathy to your family and friends.

My wife and I are in shock, as we just found out today of Craig's passing.   Laurie had called to schedule an appt for our car and the line was disconnected so she drove over to the shop and the gate was open, then she read on the window of the trajic news of his passing.
Craig was always professional, a gentleman, an expert at his craft, and a kindred spirit.  He knew us by our voices when we would call for an appointment.  In our conversations we got to know about his wife Tracy and his son Craig Jr. of which he was so proud of.  We have lost such a beautiful person.  My wife recalls that he rarely if ever said goodbye but would always say "see you later".  So Craig, our prayers to your familia and we'll "see you later".

You are such a honest and fun person to know.  You will be missed.

I'm saddened to hear of Craigs passing.  Craig was a fine man and an expert mechanic.  I took all my cars to Craig over the 25 years I knew him and he was always honest and reliable.  He remembered the little details I shared with him about myself and never failed to deliver on a promise.  He was a straight talker and I think we all respected that in him.  Craig had that quiet confidence that always made me feel at ease.  Before I left his shop he would smile and chat a little about something we had in common and I'd leave feeling like my world was right again. Craig was a very good man.

I am deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Craig who i remember from when he was just a teenager.  I could tell back then he would turn out to be fine young man, in particular because he was raised by wonderful parents and a great family.  My deepest condolences to his parents, his wife and son, and the entire Numoto family.

I stopped by the shop today to see Craig about my car. I had no idea he passed away. My condolences go to his friends and family. The world has lost a great man. He was honest, trustworthy, friendly, generous, and genuine. Godspeed, Craig.

I just heard of the tragic news of Craig's passing.  I was a high school classmate of Craig's.  Class of 1980 Independence High School.  He was a great high school friend.  My heart and prayers go out to his family.  May you find comfort in knowing he is at peace and may God bless you with strength.

Craig was a very loving husband, father, son and brother, and nephew. He was always considerate and thoughtful of everyone. I am very sad to hear of Craigs passing. I only met him a few times on the bike trails, but we had great conversations about biking. He shared my passion for cycling and I will miss not having the chance to ride with him again.
