To the Eckstein  and Cruz family
Was greatly saddened to hear on the passing of Cathy… The Cruz family lived on the same street as my family on Ezie Street.. Our  parents became friends as we did . I can’t really exactly remember when I met Cathy But we were in Our teens. We were friends pretty much through high school but as we grow, we all grow up and tend to lose Contact. I always found Cathy to be a warm and loving person. She came from a great family. Her parents were wonderful people . I still live near EZI E St. and often think of the families and friends that grew up in that neighborhood . I often wondered of Cathy and last saw her at my parents funeral 20 years ago but again we lost contact. She was a beautiful young lady and sure she is even more beautiful angel. I pray the good Lord to help heal your sorrows and to smile upon each and everyone of you and trust and believe he is taking care of all of you. God bless you all.

My Sweet Cousin Cathy -- I am missing you today but I know that you are at peace.  Thank you for your shining light that sparked hope, fun, and laughter in everyone you came in contact with.  I will fondly remember our conversations about Jimmy and your family.  Your love for them was immeasurable.

Friend/Classmate: Cathy all of us will miss you.  Cathy was a great person to be around, always had a smile.  We were classmates at Andrew Hill and years later I had the chance to coach her son Tony in Football at Coyote Creek. We had fun cathing up about some of our other classmates. Later,  I remember going to one of our class reunions and she was talking to all the girl classmates from our class and telling us what others in our class were up to.  My heart goes out to her family.  Jim I am so sorry to hear thru the grapevines that Cathy was battling cancer.  Tony to you and your siblings please remember that she is resting and not in any pain anymore.  Ill do my  best to make the services.  My prayers are with all of you.   Desi Romero III
