Brenda Lee Schmid

Brenda Lee Schmid (DelGrande) was born on October 7, 1958 in San Jose, CA to Paul and Naomi DelGrande. She grew up in Campbell, CA. She attended Camden High School and graduated in 1977. In her freshman year of high school, Brenda met her love, Keith. They dated throughout high school until they married when she was 20 years old.

While in high school, she entered the dental field where she was a dental assistant. She spent much of her career chair side assisting and then moved to the front office. She retired in 2017.

She was married to Keith LeRoy Schmid on October 28, 1978. They had two children, Douglas Paul and Krystal Jennean. Brenda loved gardening, shopping, the beach, traveling, going to tea, attending broadway shows, oldies music (especially Elvis!!) and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. While raising her family, they enjoyed camping at the lake, Hollister Hills or Manteca Waterslides.

She was over the moon about her grandchildren, Chloe (7), Austin (7), Maddie (5) and Skylar (4). She was their loving Gigi and she loved to spoil them!

Brenda is known for her beautiful Christmas celebrations, where Santa was known to make an appearance each year! She brought so much Christmas joy to all of her family and friends!

Brenda is survived by her husband Keith, her son Doug (Mandy), her daughter Krystal (Marc), her granddaughter Chloe, her grandson Austin, her granddaughter Maddie, her granddaughter Skylar, her siblings, Herb, Debra and Tamineha (Jim) as well as her many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 14th at 11:30am at Oak Hill Cemetery and Memorial Park. Chapel of the Oaks.
