Binhduc’s memories live on through his wife, Kimanh, his 3 children, and granddaughter. Binhduc lived a full life of love, travels, and lasting friendships. He loved his family and was proud of the life he created for them in America.
He was a prideful graduate from the Naval Academy in 1970, and became a South Vietnamese Naval Officer, serving from 1970-1975. After the fall of Saigon, Binhduc spent 2 years in a "reeducation camp”.
Once released from "reeducation camp" he took his young family on the long journey from Vietnam to California in 1979. He started a career as an electronic technician from 1981-2002 working for Atari, Digital Microwave, and Harmonic Lightwave. In 2002 he proudly donned a TSA uniform serving as Security Agent, retiring in 2010.
In his golden years he did his favorite activities, traveling the world and spending time with his family and friends. Most recently he found the most joy spending time with his granddaughter.
Binhduc was a confident, strong, resourceful, and loving man. His smile and laughter will be greatly missed but his memories will live on through all the people he’s met.
A funeral service for Binhduc will be held Friday, December 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125, followed by a witness cremation from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
