83, passed away peacefully at home with loved ones by her side. Beatriz was born in Del Rio, Texas July 29, 1929. She was preceded in death by her mother, sister, and brother. She married Francisco O. Garcia on July 1, 1950 and enjoyed 28 years of marriage before his death on August 11, 1978.
She is survived by her eight children, Rebecca (Chuck) Napier, Raquel (Victor) Munoz, Ricardo (Cindy) Garcia, Romelia (Dave) Distasio, Francisco (Nina) Garcia, Hortencia (Javier) Romero, Hilda G. Salinas and Carmen Garcia. She had 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Zapopa, brother Federico, cousins, and numerous nephews and nieces. She will be greatly missed.
A viewing will be held on Sun. 8/19 at 4pm with a vigil following at 6pm in Chapel of Roses. A funeral mass will be held on Mon. 8/20 at Most Holy Trinity Church at 9am with the burial following at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
