Born on May 25, 1938, in Lucena City, Philippines (PH), she achieved her BSC in Accounting and the ROTC Cadette Captain “Echo” 1st Regiment at Far Eastern University, PH at the age of 20. She immigrated to the USA in 1962 and continued her studies at Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA in 1963.
Alicia is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Alicia was among 11 sisters and brothers.
As a prominent figure of Santa Clara Valley, Alicia made a difference.
She has worked as an accountant for 60 years, of which she built a successful business: Navarro Accounting & Tax Services for 48 years; and World Vista Travel Agency for 5 years.
Alicia became the first woman president of the Philippine Professional Business Society (PBBS) of Santa Clara Valley in 1983; Auditor 1989, Treasurer 2012-2016; a loyal member for 40 years.
She also served as a respected officer and member of:
Diocese Council Of Filipino Catholics (Treasurer)
St. Maria Goretti Parish Fil-Am Association (Treasurer) and faithful for 35 years!
Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Santa Clara County ( VP 1989)

Involved in various fundraising activities to raise funds for PPBS scholarships, St. Maria Goretti Parish and various non-profit organizations.
She is the Queen of the Lumpia Wrapping Committee for the SMG yearly festivals, enjoys cooking Filipino dishes for Life Teen and any occasion to fill our hearts with joy.
Devoted to her family, church and community, Alicia sustained an incredible life as a leader, a servant, and contributor. Our beloved will be truly missed, especially her jokes and cooking. Her life was fulfilled with so much love, may her legacy live on.
