Agripina Rosa TanTaruna, 104 years old of San Jose, CA passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. She was born on June 4, 1919 in Trujillo, Peru.
She married the love of her life Eleuterio TanTaruna in 1937. She was a wonderful human being helping others devout catholic. Wonderful Wife, Mother, Sister, Sister-in Law, Aunt, Grandmother and Friend.
Rosa is survived by her loving children, Luis TanTaruna, Hernan TanTaruna, Rosa Marquez and Adela Auton, Loving Grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Mother, you will always live in our hearts. Her love and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Family and Friends are invited to attend Viewing on Thursday, 01/25, 2024 from 5pm until 9pm with Rosary at 7pm at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, CA 95125 and Funeral Mass on Friday, January 24, 2024 at 10:00am at Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph, 80 South Market Street, San Jose, Ca 95113 and Graveside Service to follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125.
