Margaret was born on December 6th, 1956, in Pasadena, California, to her beloved parents, Donal and Marion Silliker. She spent her childhood nurturing her love of theater, riding horses, and spending time at the beach. While studying for her degree in Television at CSUN, she met and fell in love with Marc, whom she married in 1983. They had two children, Elizabeth and Lauren, and moved their family to Santa Clarita in 1989.
Margaret worked for the local radio and cable stations, and her voice could be heard broadcasting throughout the SCV. She was especially proud of the “Kids Club” show that she produced in the early 1990s. Through her work, she met and connected with numerous people throughout the community. Talking with and getting to know people brought her joy, and she made friends wherever she went. Margaret was active in the community, volunteering her time at her daughters’ schools, and helping to run the annual Hart of the West Pow Wow for many years. She had a love of cooking, and could often be found in the kitchen making family dinners or baking treats. After Elizabeth and Lauren left home, she and Marc moved to Encino, where she resided until her death.
She is survived by her husband Marc Wolf, Elizabeth Wolf and her partner Chris Rickabaugh, Lauren and Dwayne Dunn, and their daughter Brynn, brother David, and sister Marian (“Mimi”). Services and burial will take place at San Marino Community Church and San Gabriel Cemetery beginning at 10:30 am on February 2nd.
