Dear Grandma, To know you, is to love you. I've been so blessed to have you in my life all these years. You've always given me such comfort of love & security. I reflect back & think about all the times we were together. As a child the long walks along the the cliffs in Ensenada, early morning walks to fetch water from the well, sitting with you as you made your Tiffany shades (I think, I could make one too), remembering you chasing the rooster with the broom & whacked him off my back (thank you, it was awful). Spending endless nights at yours & grandpa's home was the best!  A summer evening treat of having a half of cantaloup w/a scoop of vanilla ice cream was heavenly.  Attending all my school functions through the years to spending the night at my home with my husband & children:))  Guiding me through life lessons & reminding me of the love, of our Lord has for each of us & to trust in him. Sharing in my Wedding Day & the birth of my baby girl "thank you for all the prayers!" The way you loved my children is priceless. You & my baby boy were kindred spirits from the beginning, how sweet is that!  I'm so VERY proud they had you in their life. I miss our talks, sharing in family meals, watching t.v., or just sitting quietly with each other ~ I remember you telling me, these years with my babies will fly bye, to stop, breath & take it all in. I also remember you telling me, you've been ready to go with our Lord for years, & his plan was different because he hadn't called upon you. It was because we needed you, Grandma!! I wasn't ready for him to take you, from me & mommy, all of us. I miss you, we miss you. I love you yesterday, today, tomorrow & always!! You are in my thoughts daily, in my heart always. I know you are with the good Lord & he embraced you with all his love. I hope this makes sense, each time I've lost a loved one, Grandpa & Grandma Valdes, Grandpa & now you, it will be easier for me to leave this life on earth & be with ALL of you someday. Aunt Lorraine, Uncle Tito and family, my heartfelt condolences for the loss of such a special person.  I viewed the photos and felt a sense of peace that Grandma Esther lived such a full beautiful life with a loving family.  I feel blessed to have known her and Grandpa David.
