Dwayne (more commonly known as "Jay") was born and raised in Burbank, Illinois. He moved to Texas at the age of 20, then Nevada, before eventually settling in California. He moved to Texas at the age of 20, then Nevada, before eventually settling in California. He was a devoted brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend who left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
A talented general contractor, Jay had an unmatched ability to fix or renovate anything. His craftsmanship and dedication were evident in every project he touched, whether for work or in his own home. In his early days, he loved deep-sea fishing and woodworking, always eager to create something with his hands or cast a line into the open water. As he got older, his passions shifted to car shows, cooking, and taking on side projects around the house.
Above all, Jay cherished his family. He is survived by his siblings Katrina, Cindy, and Patrick, his loving wife, Sherry; his daughter, Rebecca and son-in-law, Roger; and his grandson, Jax, who brought him so much happiness. His legacy of hard work, kindness, and love will live on in their hearts.
