You Will Never Know Just How Much You Meant To Me, How Much You Taught Me, What A Role Model You Were & How Much You Are Missed. Aunt Diane,
I will always remember your loving ways you had, how you always made everyone feel welcome, no one was ever a stranger! You meant the world to everyone, especially me! My heart will be filled with lots of memories growing up spending time with you and Uncle Paul, good memories! I love you so much, and will miss you always, there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you. You will always be in my heart!

Our hearts go out to all of Diana's family during this difficult loss.  Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. The greatest compliment to Diana is to live your life and keep her memory alive.  With our deepest sympathy, the Spadafora Family.

Dear Family,

Mike and I are so very sorry for your loss. My memories may not be others but this is what I remember of this great lady.

Aunt Diana was unbelievably generous, kind, understanding, loving and the best Italian cook I ever knew! She loved her family and she so loved Uncle Paul ... the two of them were always together and showed such fun and love for each other. Many memories flood my mind but for some reason I keep remembering when we went to, I think it was called, the Camelia Festival, in Temple City. There were floats and we walked from Aunt Diana and Uncle Paul's house and watched the parade on Las Tunas Drive. It was a fun time. I also remember that she was very patient with Uncle Paul's ideas and she would ask dad to come "help" with those ideas. She had a great laugh, could see a light side to things to ease the pain of something and she was incredibly practical. Mike and I so enjoyed the times we were able to make it to her Christmas Eve Pizza party. It was always fun to see family and share in the great food and laughs. We also loved hearing about her and Uncle Paul's travel adventures. I remember her saying when they went to Russia that they were surprised how many different ways the Russians could serve a potato! I believe their 40th anniversary saw them go to Tahiti, if I am remembering correctly, and I believe that is when we all celebrated their 40th at a family party at the same place Mike and I had our wedding reception, what was at the time the San Gabriel Women's Club ... and for some reason I remember her wedding dress was on display as we entered the hall. Someone will correct me, I am sure, on what I am getting wrong. I think the best stories, other than the truck story we heard often, was their trip back to Italy. Aunt Diana was so tickled to tell us of the relatives she and Uncle Paul had never met that greeted them when they got to Sicily. So many moments ... just moments ... that I hope all of my cousins have thousands of to help them through these rough times. Auntie Diana is with God, she is probably spending time with all of our family who went before her ... and she has earned such a great spot in heaven. We are sorry she is gone, but we know she is in a better place. We love her, we continue to pray for Uncle Paul and all of the family, and we send our love and condolences.
