David Delgado

Born Dec 10, 1941 in Los Angeles, Ca. passed away at his home April 19, 2020 in South San Gabriel, Ca. surrounded by family. David is the eldest of three children of Benjamin and Madalena Delgado. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Rosie, children David and wife Carol, Steve and wife Maria, Kenny and wife Martha, Katie and husband Adrian. Along with 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and numerous Nieces, Nephews, Godchildren and Cousins. David is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Christine and Terry.

David was the Patriarch of the family and thus became more involved with his nieces and nephews when his sisters passed away, he was an integral part of all of our lives.

David was proud of the family he and Rosie created, he was not shy about letting others know about births, weddings, and graduations of his family. The Delgado’s are very well known within the surrounding communities due to David’s friendliness and involvement in organizations.

Some of the numerous organizations David was involved with throughout his life are YMCA Indian guides, President of Rosemead Little League, Assistant Scout Master Troop 311, and Reserved Sheriff, St Anthony’s ushers, San Gabriel High School baseball and football boosters. He became involved with the ELKS lodge in San Gabriel where he became Exalted Ruler for the lodge and District Deputy for San Gabriel Valley.

David’s passing has left a void in the many lives of those he came in contact with. He always had a big smile a hearty laugh and willingness to help and mentor wherever he could.
