Aileen Lim Lewis passed away on May 5, 2020 from cardiac arrest. She had battled medical conditions for so many years. Her agony has now ended and she was given the ultimate healing, being in heaven with other loved ones. Let us remember to pray for her lovely soul and wish her loved ones peace in their hearts in this difficult time.
Aileen was a one of a kind soul filled with endless love and compassion. She was incredibly selfless and kind to every person she'd come across. Her bright smile would light up a whole room. If you saw her, she was always smiling. No matter how much pain she was in or if she was having a bad day. Even if she could barely walk, she would try to grab someone, who could walk, a chair to sit with her. She always kept positive and made sure no one had to worry about her. She would always put everyone else's needs before her own. She enjoyed thinking of others and seeing other people happy because that made her happy. It's always a fond feeling thinking of her laughter. Her laugh was nothing but genuine. It felt safe and comforting, like a warm hug. Aileen was a friend to so many. She was the type of person that made long term friendships and treated everyone like family. She was a sister who liked to play games with her brother and be there for her kuya no matter what. She was a daughter and daughter-in-law, one that did her best to make her parents proud and gave her utmost respect to them. She was a loyal wife, the kind of wife who would always make sure her husband was taken care of. She was a mother, a devoted hardworking mom who taught her daughter "always be kind and help those in need". That really shows the kind of pure love she gave the world.
There is a GoFundMe to help pay for her memorial services and hospital bills. Her family wants to keep her memory alive and take care of her even after death. Any kind donation is greatly appreciated.
