     Cannot believe that it has been three years since Yumi’s passing..
She is still missed and continues to come up in our Pan Am conversations..she was the embodiment of style and grace..you and she were the Ken and Barbie of Pan American..you were family..and you as an Italian knows la famiglia e tutti..
I hope you and Roman are doing well and as a person who believes in the spirit.. I know Yumi is around both of you..

I am so very, very sorry to learn of Yumi's passing. She was such a lovely, charming and beautiful person.  I was reading Jet Wings when I saw the sad news and honestly felt as though I had been hit with a baseball bat.  I couldn't  believe it.  She always made me laugh and now she's made me cry.  I hope that the thoughts and prayers of all of her friends are a comfort to you, Bob and Roman.  May happy memories sustain you  and may God hold Yumi in  His hands forever.  May he also bring you comfort.

The London Base was your courting ground, and all of us followed your Love Story with interest.   Bob had found his soul mate in Yumi, and how wonderful she was.   Kind, thoughtful, funny, talented and beautiful.   You were a perfect couple.   Yumi will always be remembered with affection!   Roman must always know that Yumi was one of the best in the Pan Am family.   Condolences to you all.

  This seems so impossible.  So many memories of Pan Am/JFK and flights to Tokyo.  Yumi was wonderful to work with, always kind and gracious and smiling.

I will always remember Yumi for loving black pantyhose from Penny Markt. Flying with her was such a joy as she was so passionate about her passengers.

I did not have the opportunity to fly with Yumi while she was based in New York, however, I had the pleasure to get to know her through times together with our Pan Am family in Connecticut.       Hearts are breaking all over the Pan Am /Delta world hearing this devastating news. Yumi was loved by so many.  Everyone knew her for her warm welcoming smile and kind and gracious demeanor, but what I also loved about her was her sense of humor. We laughed a lot when we were together! I cherish memories of flying with her to Brussels and Rome and lots of turnarounds when our kids were younger.
