It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you that Mr. Michael E. Wright, who was born in Lake Providence, Louisiana, to Ethel Lee Berry and Willie Lee Wright on 03 April 1964, passed away peacefully at his home in San Francisco, California on 15 May 2024. He was 60 years old.
He grew up in Oakland, California, graduated with the class of 1982 at Oakland Castlemont High School, enlisted in the US Army in 1984, successfully achieved a certificate in Community Counseling at City College of San Francisco Community College, and was employed as a Community Counselor in the City of San Francisco, where he resided for 30 years. He is survived by his two daughters: Brittany and Jessica, and two grandchildren: Geoni and Olianna.
