Kenneth G. Everett

Kenneth G. Everett passed away peacefully on July 15, 2013. Kenneth (Ken) was preceded in death in 2001, by the love of his life, Michael G. Everett. Ken leaves behind his best friend Gus and numerous friends. A long-time resident of San Francisco, Ken was a fixture and a pillar in the Nob Hill community. As an avid pet-lover and AIDS activist, Ken and his partner Michael were involved in several social causes. Anyone who knew Ken was touched by his open heart, generosity, and great listening skills. Ken was a truly unique individual and he will be missed by all, especially his "angels." Born in Roswell, New Mexico, Ken spent his younger years in Tennessee and served in the military for several years until he was discharged in 1967. After living in Seattle and California, Ken placed his roots in San Francisco. Ken's friends and family are especially grateful for the devoted care that both the Maitri staff and residents provided to him during his last few months. Words cannot describe how much Ken will be missed. We have a new angel looking down on us.
