Keith Alan Sweeney

2018 at the age of 47. Keith was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 11, 1970 and lived in the Chicago

area until graduating high school from Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois in 1988.

After finishing his college freshman year at the University of Southern California, Keith transferred to the

University of Colorado Boulder where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English in 1992.

After college Keith balanced his passions for skiing, outdoor sports, being near an ocean and music with

his love for using technology and business analytics to start and advance a variety of businesses. He

lived in Washington DC, Fort Lauderdale, Chicago and San Francisco. At the time of his death Keith was

employed as a Sr. Analyst - Manager QA & Utilization Applications - Informatics/Provider Insights with

Delta Dental and partner in a several startup businesses contributing his technology expertise and

leadership.

Keith is survived by his mother Patricia Sweeney (Chicago), his father Michael Sweeney and wife Lois

Edwards (The Villages, Florida), Grandmother Mrs. Elsie Wawrzyniak (Chicago) and step-sister Meggen

Mastej-Lepper and family (Indianapolis, Indiana).

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 3:00pm at the San Francisco

Columbarium & Funeral Home, One Loraine Court, San Francisco, CA 94118.

After the service, Keith’s body will be transferred for interment in Chicago. A Chicago memorial service

is being planned and will be announced for later in 2018.

A Memorial Fund has been set up in Keith’s name to benefit his love of children. In lieu of flowers the
