Doreen was a breath of fresh air.
I think her positivity came from always seeing the world with a young person's eyes and curiosity. 
She was truly a friend to all.
She is missed.

I was so terribly shocked and deeply saddened to hear about Doreen's passing.  I want to give my sincerest condolences, wishes and virtual hugs to her friends and family. 

I met Doreen through my daughter Gigi.  I visited with them both many times when they worked at the Thai restaurant together in SF.  We had a lot of laughs and fun while they were working and I was sitting at the bar visiting them. 

Doreen joined our family twice for Christmas dinners.  Once about 8 years ago in Oakland and again 4 years ago in Portland.  She was always so lovely and she blended in with our family easily and we always had a warm and fun time together. 

We will miss you Doreen.  We had hoped for more time and more visits and more dinners.  Our spirits will meet again someday.  In the meantime, may you rest in peace sweet one.
