I first meet Brian back in 2013 when I had just moved from Denver and started playing with the Seals.  From the first moment he was super nice and welcoming and made everyone feel great. I will never forget when I ran into him and his wife on a Friday in Fillmore street SF and she was due to give birth on the Sunday or something like that.  They were just hanging out enjoying a night out as if nothing! I think I was more nervous than they were about the whole thing!

What a great and classy guy! Thank you for always being so friendly and welcoming Brian!

I only knew Brian as a player across the line on the Seals, and only had interaction with him as same, but our bamsbl  league is a family, and his loss touches all of us. I’m glad he played ball, as I do remember he always seemed to be having fun, and our lives are clearly to short not to do what we enjoy.
My heart truly goes out to his family.

I only knew Brian as a fellow competitor on the baseball field. For years you play against guys that you don’t even know, other than fist bump at the end of a game we all still love as adults. 

You notice how players carry themselves, their character tends to expose itself. I always felt Brian carried himself and treated us opposing players as good person and a good representative of the Seals and the league.

My heart is saddened by his passing and the loss his wife, kids, family, friends and teammates are experiencing. I hope everyone can find comfort in their warm thoughts and memories they have of Brian.

Brian and I used to work for the same company. He was not only the best at what his role was but he was simply the nicest of all at the California office. The day after I became an American citizen my desk was dressed with some flags, a couple of American beers, and a frame with the President of the United States... It could only be him behind this surprise! "I am so happy to count you as a fellow American!" he told me. He was one of the reasons why I was happy to wake up early to commute to the city everyday. As a father of 4 he was always sharing with me his joy of being a family man, with a lovely wife and beautiful kids. I will always love you my dear friend!. Hugues.

Brian was one of the nicest guys I ever have known.
 He had a loving family and his Dad and Elizabeth were always there as the fan base of the Seals   Brian genuinely was interested in and cared about everyone he met.   Elizabeth, you and Brian were the perfect match , you could see  his deep love for you and of course baseball.  He leaves so many wonderful memories of about 10 years of Seals’ ball and will be deeply missed by all. 
He was one of the finest persons I have met.

Brian's absolute passion for the game of baseball, for playing on the San Francisco Seals, was pure, innocent, inclusive and totally infectious.  I knew him mostly as a fellow ballplayer.  How someone conducts themselves as a ballplayer, how they treat team mates, how they share their good hearts and concern, how they are humble and supportive of others, is a window into how they are as human beings.    We are all better people because we knew him, and the world is less without him.  His impact is immeasurable and he will not be forgotten.


At AT&T about ten years ago.  You got to pretend you were a major leaguer for a day.   That was a fun day for us old guys playing a kids game.

Miss seeing you out there on the field, buddy.   Not the same without you....
