Bertha Marie Manzella Palmer

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Roy H. Palmer and her brother John Manzella and sister Angelina Balistreri.

Loving mother of Paula Palmer Brillon. Also survived by her boys, Roy, Jr., Mark (Robin) and John. Beloved grandmother of Rhiana Marie Brillon. Caring sister-in-law of Lola Manzella and brother-in-law Giuseppe Balistreri. Dear aunt of Andrew Balistreri (Mary), Anna Reay (Jonathan) and Janice Bartholomew. Dear cousin of Carmel Stanovcak and Annemarie (Rudy) Pellegrini. Godmother of Peter Cefalu and Steve Stanovcak.

Long-time member of the Madonna Addolorata of SS Peter and Paul Church.

Bertha worked at Simmons Company in SF as a bookkeeper in her early years.

She will always be remembered for her love of family and friends.

Her famous quote was, "Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me."

A rosary and service will be held at the Italian Cemetery’s Pieta Chapel, 540 F Street, Colma, CA on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
