The Lord called my baby brother Tim Romero home on Tuesday, 10/01/2109. Our hearts ache beyond words, but we find comfort in knowing that he is at peace with our Lord, and our loved ones that have gone before us.
Tim was born on 10/05/1975 in San Diego. He is survived by his parents, Roy and Shawn Romero; siblings, Anna Romero Andrade and David Romero; nephew Joseph, and nieces Amaya and Aileina.
If you knew my brother you know that he loved his family and friends, he was the most loyal person, and he would give you the last penny in his pocket if you needed it. He also had the most memorable laugh. In the end his heart was too big for this earthly world and God called him home to fulfill a bigger purpose.
Tim lived a simple life. He was well-read and he loved to watch movies and documentaries. He loved history, politics and the military. He was highly intelligent & formally educated. He was a plumber by trade, a certified paralegal and he enjoyed working with his hands. He taught himself to play the guitar, he trained many in boxing and he tutored his nieces and nephew in all forms of mathematics. He loved to cook, and especially loved to bbq.
Tim was quick-witted and incredibly sarcastic. He had a great smile and a boisterous chuckle.
He was a parishioner at Good Shepard Catholic Church. He helped with bingo and he took his beliefs to heart.
We will love and miss him always, and trust that we will be together again one day in Paradise.
So many of you have reached out and we thank you for you support, kind words, flowers, hugs, food and cards.
Please feel free to wear any shade of blue in Tim’s Honor. 💙
