Thomas Alan Greany

Thomas Alan Greany passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024, in San Diego, California, at the age of 74. Born on November 6, 1950, in Massachusetts, he was the beloved son of Edward J. Greany and Evelyn H. Greany (née Coleman).

Tom spent most of his life in San Diego, where he built a legacy of love, laughter, and lasting memories. He was an accomplished tradesman, excelling in refrigeration, appliance repair, and maintenance. A gifted woodworker, he was especially proud of his intricate scroll art, which reflected his creative spirit. In his younger years, Tom showcased his skill and passion for border collies by competing in sheepdog trials.

He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his son, Matthew; his daughters, Christina and Jeanette; his brother, Edward; and his former wife, Sharon. Though their paths diverged, Sharon and Tom shared many cherished memories that continued to connect their lives.

Tom will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and kind soul. His wit and laughter brought joy to everyone who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of happiness and love.
