Terry Jon Tipton

Terry Jon Tipton passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of January 9, 2014, surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Born September 7, 1951 to Harold B. and Gracielle V. Tipton, he graduated from Monte Vista High School in Spring Valley, CA, before entering the family's automobile business. Terry possessed an unparalleled sense of humor, he was quietly generous, intelligent and kind. He will be forever in our hearts.

He is predeceased by his father, Harold B. Tipton, his mother, Gracielle V. Tipton and his son, Terry Jon II. He is survived by daughters Jennifer L. Gialenes of Seattle, WA, Tiara G. Tipton of Grand Junction, CO, Tessa E. Tipton of San Diego, CA, Teal M. Tipton of San Francisco, CA, his son, Thomas M. Tipton of San Diego, CA, step-children Travis Bramwell of San Diego, CA, Tiffany Bramwell Snow, of San Diego, CA, grandchildren Natalie G. Gialenes of Greenville, SC, Kaila and Kelani Fale of San Diego, CA, Andrew C. Tipton of San Diego, CA, and a great-granddaughter, Adriana G. Gialenes of Greenville, SC. His sister, Tange Gavin of El Cajon, CA and brother, Tyrone Tipton of Spring Valley, CA, his uncle L.C. Tipton and aunt Wynell also survive him.

A celebration of Terry's life will be held on February 1, 2014 at Greenwood Memorial Park at 11 a.m. A reception will follow the service at the Bali Hai at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations in Terry's name be made to The American Cancer Society.
