Steven Anthony Parker

He was born in Mobile, Alabama and moved to San Diego, CA in 1971 with his father and 3 siblings.

He graduated high school and attended Mesa College. He worked as a handyman for a short time. He became disabled in his mid 20's and moved to Vista, CA. He later met and married his wife, Karen. Steve loved his family and the get togethers, enjoyed baseball, football, surfing, and playing guitar. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Vista, CA. There he served as a greeter, head usher, and taught CCD classes. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and was very active in this organization. He is survived by his wife Karen, three brothers, four sisters and nephews.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends. The funeral Rosary and Mass will be on Saturday, March 4, 2023. Rosary is at 10:00am and Mass at 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church; 4540 El Cerrito Dr., San Diego, CA
