Stephen Jones was born in Texas April 18, 1957, and entered his eternal life December 13, 2024, at the age of 67. After graduating high school, Steve attended San Diego State University where he earned a
degree in business. After graduation, Steve began a career as a financial consultant and economist. A few years later he met his former wife Victoria and her son Nicholas, and the couple was blessed with another son, Dylan. He later changed careers and began working for the family owned business Matthew Signs in Escondido. Steve was gregarious, gracious, loving, and kind. His happy places in life were Yosemite National Park and La Jolla Cove. He enjoyed making things for others. His creative talents were easily recognizable in his hand made paintings. guitars and portrait and landscape paintings.
Steve is survived by his sons Nicholas (Anni), and Dylan, and grandson Elliot.
As we remember and celebrate Steve’s life, let us turn to God for comfort and encouragement.
