Seung Kyu Lee

Born on December 13, 1947, Seung Kyu emigrated with his family from South Korea in 1982. A local small business owner, he was well-respected among the Korean-American community and was a devout member of Joyous Community Church. His passions included traveling, music, sports (particularly golf), and spending time with friends and loved ones. Seung Kyu was predeceased by his wife, Keon Ja Lee and survived by his long-time partner, Sun Yi Bang, daughter, Susan Lee-Snyder, and son, Daniel Lee. He is also survived by his sisters, Kilja Larsen (John Larsen) and Judy Fultz (Bill Fultz), sister-in-law, Keum Soon Lee, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

A funeral service for Seung Kyu will be held Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at El Camino Memorial - Sorrento Valley, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at El Camino Memorial Park, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121.
