Serafin Francisco Piña, age 66 passed away on Feb 12, 2019.
Born in Fresnillo Zacatecas Mexico on July 25, 1952 to parents Carlos Piña Estrada and Apolonia Hermosillo Gutierrez.
He retired from Vons this last November 2018 after over 28 years of being with the company.
He survived by his wife Maria A Piña, his daughter Marisol Piña Foster, his Son Serafin F Piña Jr., And his grandchildren Valeria and Araceli.
He was an great human being. Always had a great big smile and loud contagious laugh. The best father and provider we could have ever asked for. He loved riding his bike, taking the transit or sprinter especially to take his grandkids to Oceanside to walk down the beach. He enjoyed the outdoors and walks around town. The type of man that would give the shirt off his own back to help anyone out. This is an enormous void that will never be filled.
We love you so much, Dad. May you rest in peace in the presence of our God.
