It is with profound sadness that the family of Sandra Faye Carpenter announce her peaceful passing on February 12, 2023 at the age of 59. Sandra was born on September 22, 1963 in North Carolina and resided in San Diego, California. Preceded in death by her father Bobby Lee Carpenter and sister Gloria Komori. She is survived by her mother Chieko Carpenter, siblings David and Cheri Carpenter, nieces Tara Majeski and Naomi Komori, son Austin Wayne, Daughter in law Amy Wayne, grandchildren Colton and Carter Wayne and many more cousins, aunts and uncles in Arkansas, Tennessee and Japan. She lived an adventurous life. Sandy loved to laugh, dance and sing. She loved Jesus and singing worship songs. She had a bright and fierce spirit. Sandy will be missed. A funeral service will be held in her honor on February 25, 2023 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church 11:00 AM. 3873 Cherokee Ave, San Diego, CA 92104.
