Ryan was born and raised in Hobart, Indiana. Ryan was preceded in death by his Mother Roberta (Robin) Galka and is survived by his Father James W. Galka and his brother James C. Galka of Hobart, Indiana and his beloved comfort dog Sid.
Ryan was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union local 20 of Northwest Ind and local 206 of San Diego California.
Ryan loved his family and his friends and always had a kind heart for those who were less fortunate.
He was his happiest when writing music and playing for his friends. His guitar gave him so much joy.
Ryan was courageous and fearless. Ryan’s life was cut short and we will deeply miss him.
