I always saw her working hard at church during events.  She was dedicated, kind, and always willing to give her time.

Ruth always seemed to be abreast of what was happening in our church and the world.  She will always be remembered fondly by those who knew her.


We will miss visiting your Mom as she always shouted out our name when we walked in!   It definitely brought a smile to her face when we took the grandchildren - that was her bonus!  Ruth shared her talents and leadership on Missions/Outreach Committee at Hope UMC for many years.  If something needed to be done in the kitchen, she was there to serve.  For the first Potato Bowl, she was Master Chef Lead in the kitchen and for so many events after.  And wow!  She was a great cook,  never running out of food and always seasoned just right!  And she made the work fun - laughing her way through!   Many a night, we left that kitchen tired but she was in great spirits - enjoying what she did for the family of Hope! 
You were a wonderful daughter, Diana and a sweet grand-daughter, Lexie.  Everything you could, you did.  All the love you had, you gave. You took such good care of her. That's a gift that will last forever!  Hold close to your heart those memories you hold most dear!  That will carry you through.
Praying the Lord will comfort you with His peace, surround you in His love and encourage you with His presence.

Diana,  I'm saddened to hear about your mom.  She was such a wonderful person and so special to my own mom.  I have so many fond memories of them together at church and in fellowship hall serving others and raising money for the church.  They both loved to laugh together and work tirelessly for friends and members of Hope. 

You were a wonderful daughter and deeply devoted to her...  so I know this is tough.  But I also know you are comforted by the knowledge that she has a loving place in heaven surrounded by your dad and countless lifelong friends.  Not a day will go by that you won't miss her presence but she'll always be with you.
