Roman was born in the early 1920s, in San Felipe, Zambales, Philippines. He passed away of natural causes surrounded by his family. He was so strong to stand up to dementia for so long. He was the middle child of 5, lover of America, especially the US Navy, highly respected FDR and Truman, and the responsibility of voting, Democrat thank you. He served honorably in US Navy, starting as Steward to several admirals then changing his rating to Teletype Repairman, then retiring as Chief Radioman after over 20 years. He continued public service with Federal Civil Service, and eventually even working in the private sector with Alcoa as an electronics technician. Now he is free to soar and “pasyal”, and “huntahan” with his buddies, Dalmacio Matibag and Joaquin “Jack” Fune. He was predeceased by his parents Hilario and Anastasia Farrales Rosas, sister Emilia Rosas, brothers, Delfin, and Rizal Rosas. He is survived by his beloved wife of over 60 years, Aida Rosas, children CDR Emelda “May” Rosas, USN Retired and her husband Lynn Burrows, Ruby Rosas, Grace Rosas Wood and her husband David Wood, and John Rosas and his wife Deborah Hall Rosas, and grandchildren, Kristin Wood Samora and her husband Art Samora, Ashleigh Rosas, Austin Rosas, and Emma Rosas.
