Robyn was born "Sunday's Child" on March 2, 1975 in Chula Vista, California. She attended school within the Poway Unified School District and graduated in 1993 from Mt. Carmel High School. In her youth, she was a member of Girls Scouts, played the clarinet for the Marching Sundevils, and worked as a waitress at Scarcella's Pizza. While there, she met a handsome guy named Michael that made pizzas and piqued her interest. They went on to date for many years, and he even took her to her Senior Year Prom. Eventually, they married in 1999 and had their only child, Ashley, in 2002.
Robyn attended California State University, San Marcos, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts. She left teaching elementary students and entered the Federal Civil Service as a Financial Management Trainee with Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command in 1999. She worked as a Financial Analyst in the Comptroller department until her MS became too much of a challenge. From there, she threw all of her energy into sharing the gospel with all the love the Holy Spirit gifted her. She was an active member in multiple Bible study and prayer groups, and she also did written ministry with the prison population.
Robyn was a voracious reader and also had an early talent in creative writing. She was known as the "Queen of Pie Dough" as taught to her by her Mema during childhood summers in Denton, Texas. She enjoyed traveling with her family - first camping in her youth, then later to places near and far. As she grew into adulthood, so did her passion to love, study and share the promise of salvation from Jesus Christ. She even volunteered in ministry at an orphanage in Romania to spread the Word and care for young children in need.
Robyn is survived by her ever-loving husband, Michael DePrizio and daughter, Ashley DePrizio; her parents David and Barbara Bly; her sister, Christina Bly; her Mother-in-Law, Naomi Henderson; Brother-in-Law, Richard DePrizio; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins across the country. She is preceded in death by her Father-in-Law, Richard DePrizio, her grandparents and will be buried next to her grandfather, Elmo.
