Oh, Mr. Green you were my mentor, you were the first one I would call for advise, you were a kind I soul and very good  father figure, everything I know I know because of you. I will always love and miss you. Thank You!!!

We just found out that Robert passed. Our prayers are with the family and we send our sincerest condolences to Jin and the children.

No words can express my heart-felt condolences that go out to all of Robert's family and how much I will miss him. I wish I would have told Robert in person when I saw him last year how much he touched, influenced and blessed my life in so many ways.  There are people who enter our lives who are truly remarkable. Robert really was one of those people. Without fail, Robert always had a smile when he saw you. He had an ability to make you feel like you were the most important person in the room.  I will miss Robert's smile and the great many conversations we shared over the last 17 years. He was a wise man who always put things into perspective for me, professionally, personally and spiritually. You always knew that Robert was listening and that he truly cared. 
I love you Jin, I think you are an incredible person and I also think Robert was a better man because of you. You are such a strength and an example for your children and to all of us. My thoughts and friendship are with you always. 
I will miss Robert's deep and rich voice and hearty laugh that made us all so happy to be around him. He was as Christ-like as any person I ever knewa wonderful man full of integrity, life and light. Robert was passionately loyal, a loving husband and father; a gentleman in every sense of the word; a man for all seasons; a man of God and my very dear friend. Thank you Robert.

I salute you Great Uncle Robert Green. You lived this prayer every day of your life. You touched me in so many ways. I remember our many conversations, emails, and texts. You were always the teacher, however you always listened. Saying you were there for me is an understatement. You really were a driving force in shaping my life as a Young Marine, Man, Father, Brother, and friend.  My Heart is heavy, I can smile knowing that we Serve an Awesome God. He loved me so much that he gave me you. I ran on the beach today with tears in my eyes because I can hear your voice saying Look at my Marine, My Nephew. You are now with the Creator, The King of Kings; I know you are having a great time, telling jokes, making people laugh, being the BOSS you were.. lol.. Oh how I will miss you. If I could sum you up in one word it would be INSPIRATIONAL! I want to be better because you are the BEST!!!!!!

How shocked and saddened we were to hear that you had passed.  You were our realtor, our neighbor, and  friend.  Always the gentleman, we will miss seeing you wave when you went by.  We will miss your Christmas Eve visits with your friendship cake.  We so enjoyed when you and your daughters would stop by.  You and your family are in our prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  I feel fortunate that I had the opportunity to get to know Robert.  What a terrific guy.  He went out of his way to assist me in the selling of Betty and Bill Johnson's home in San Diego, along with a lot of the estate contents that I just couldn't deal with.  He even planted flowers out front for me!  He was truly heaven sent.
