Salvador, Oscar Oscar Salvador, at the young age of 68, passed away peacefully at home on June 21, 2015 surrounded by family and loved ones after a short, yet presumably long and arduous battle with cancer. Born to Pilar Salvador and the great and late Fabian Salvador, he is survived by his beautiful loving wife Yolanda Salvador and his sons Rafael Salvador, Ruel Salvador, Rommel Salvador, and Rodel Salvador as well his grandchildren Rylan, Rachel, Carel, River, and Riley. He was also a loving brother to Nonoy Salvador, Fabian Jr. Salvador, Elisa Salvador Tovera, Lilia Salvador Salas, and Eddie Salvador whom he cherished every day of his life. A Filipino native, Oscar, was born on April 4, 1947 in Zanboanga del Norte. From there he would mature into a spectacular, righteous, and selfless man who never sought to pursue an extravagant style of life. Instead, he opted to enjoy the simple aspects of life such as: watching basketball games, eating a good meal, and sleeping in a warm bed. In the eyes of his peers, Oscar Salvador was a very simple man; a simple man with an exceptional and incomparable heart. He never once put himself first. He worked and fought every day in order to ensure he achieved his greatest joy in life: the happiness of his family. To him, the smiles and laughs of his loved ones were worth more than all the riches in the world. Oscar, you will be missed, for you were more than just a respectable man. You were a loving friend, a loving son, a loving brother, a loving husband, and a loving father and grandfather. There are no amount of words that could sum up how great you truly were. You will be missed but never forgotten, yet always loved. Goodbye for now, we love you and cherish your memory. Until we meet again.
