I am so saddened to learn of Mike's passing. We related to each other in so many ways. First, as physicians working together in the OR at Sharp Cabrillo Hospital, where he was a magnificent Anesthesiologist. Second, as a fellow Padres fan with whom I shared tickets for many years. Finally, as an OBGYN colleague who was honored to preside at the deliveries of his and Roxanne's daughters. One rarely has the privilege of becoming both a friend and colleague with whom treasured memories are created. I will miss him and treasure the memories of our time together.

I am so sad to have just learned of the death of Dr. Weber.  Mike provided anesthesia care for my surgical patients for many years.  He was one of the best doctors and finest men I have ever known.  He was smart yet humble, caring and kind.  My deepest condolences.  I retired from practice in 2008 and only learned of Mike’s passing this week when I was having a surgical procedure myself and asked about Dr Weber.

I met Mike in college and lived with him the first year of medical school.  He loved his family from Okeene and was very protective of them.  This ran through his entire life.  He was outgoing and adventurous at times, but also reflective and sensitive.  Welcoming was the best way to describe Mike.  He will be missed by all who knew him. 

I went to college with Mike and roomed with him while in  med school at Oklahoma University,. I have traveled yearly from Oklahoma to see Mike and his family and play golf for over 30 years. They ( including the kitties)always made me feel welcome and like part of the family. I could tell many funny stories, but let me just say Mike was a great friend and he lived a great life.  I know he will always be remembered and loved by friends and family .

Susan and I will miss Mike dearly!  He was wonderful friend, golfing partner, Aztec and Oklahoma fan, dedicated anesthesiologist, devoted husband, father, grandfather and just an all around great guy. He battled  cancer with grit and dignity and we admire him for his “never give up” spirit.  Our condolences to the entire Weber family.
