Mary Ann Napier

Mary Ann Napier was born in San Diego, California on July 25th, 1945. She passed away peacefully at home with her two sons at her side on July 30th, 2015 having just celebrated her 70th birthday. Raised in San Diego, Mary Ann attended Hoover High School then transferred to La Jolla High School where she graduated in 1963. Mary Ann is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Paul and Cindy Hubbard; son John Wesley Napier; son and daughter-in-law William Brent and Christina Napier; granddaughters Warner Lewis and Nina Sims Napier, as well as five nephews and nieces. Mary Ann will be fondly remembered by many lifelong friends from Hoover and La Jolla High School with whom she shared many adventures. Mary Ann lived in Encinitas, California since 1978, where she raised her sons, worked in the medical field, and was a long-standing member of the community. Despite having a kidney transplant in 2001, she traveled extensively throughout the Americas, Asia, and Europe in her later years. She was a dog lover and adopted many rescue dogs, specifically Brittany Spaniels. Services were held at Cypress View Mausoleum on August 5th, 2015.
