Maribeth Ricketts, fifty six years, passed away on the night of December 25th at 10:18 at Grossmont Hospital. She is survived by her husband Alex of nineteen years and her two boys Jamie and James. Born in Manila, she was the daughter of Albina and Bayani Chua and graduated at UST obtaining her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She was employed at Sharp Home Health and worked as a RN Home Health Nurse. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Parish Church; she enjoyed travelling, collecting various objects from Starbucks mugs to magnets, loved shopping, eating, and maintaining a spotless and organized home. She will be remembered mostly for being the queen of the office, making her presence known at any event, being very dramatic, a lively person, a hard worker, great sense of humor, a prankster, a cherished friend, a loyal wife, a loving mother, and most of all for her smile. She was predeceased by her older brother Ramon Chito and one of her closest friends Sabeth Ley Yap. The funeral service/memorial will be held on 2nd of January at 4pm to 8pm at El Camino Memorial. Mass is on the 3rd of January at 10am at Good Shepard Catholic Church in Mira Mesa CA
