We miss your smile mom.  We miss our Saturday meals together with you and dad.  We miss not being able to introduce you to your newest great grandson Forrest.  Most of all we miss your love.

I miss our weekly Saturday night dinners.
I miss her smile and sweet personality.

 Mom ,
We will miss you always. You were a part of our daily lives. Then this Covid thing hit & our time got limited to the garden. You seem to always enjoy those visits. The last one being the best one in a long time. Every Sunday we had your "fried chicken run " for you. 4 pc.meal 2 drumsticks, 2 thighs, mashed potatoes with gravy, cole slaw. If we couldn't have our regular Sat.  nite family meal at least we were able to treat you to a meal from outside your home. Speaking of the home they loved you dearly. Why I don't know  but they called you "Grandma". You loved it because it made it personal like family.  The last year 
you made new friends  who treated you with not just care but loving , respectful care .  We were so happy that you were so cared for when we were not allowed in. Hospice  was such a gift. They loved you for your humor & generosity . Though we miss you now ,you are with Dad & Forrest & those you so dearly loved. Know you will be with us daily..so much here  at our house came from yours or you gave to us .So many Memories & History left behind to carry forward.
Always with us in our hearts.

To the Garrett family, my heart hurts for the loss of Grandma Garrett. I feel so fortunate to have known her and spend time with her over the years. Im glad she got to have so many years in some peace and quiet because we all know Grandpa Garrett is waiting to give her such a hard time for all of eternity. Hope heaven doesnt have any revolving doors. Love you all amd miss you! -Melissa.
