Lindsay Marie Zetts

Went to rest in the arms of God our Father on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at her home in Cardiff By-the-Sea, California. Lindsay was born in Sarasota, FL to Robert Bechtel and Kathleen Schoeman. She was the second of three children; sister to, Melissa Sentner and Branden Bechtel. Growing up, Lindsay loved the beach, riding horses and playing soccer. Lindsay found her calling to help others at a young age and graduated with a BS in Nursing from the University of South Florida in 2009. In 2010, Lindsay met the love of her life, Andrew, in Key West, FL. It was love at first sight for them both. In 2014, they were married at the Immaculata Church at the University of San Diego. They made their home in Cardiff by-the-Sea where Lindsay worked as a nurse for the Kaiser Hospital system in a pulmonary clinic. In December 2019, they were blessed by the arrival of their daughter Everess Elle into their lives.

Lindsay was an extremely loving and energetic person whose brilliance, humor, and tremendous humility impacted every person she met. Her doctors often confessed she made them better, elevated the medical staff around her, and she was loved by every one of her patients. She embraced motherhood with a passion that only paralleled the miracle that Everess represented in her life. She spent time outdoors daily, enjoyed exploring the California coast, often walking with Andrew, Everess, and their dog Cali.

Lindsay is survived by husband, Andrew; daughter, Everess; parents, Bob and Kathleen Bechtel; brother, Branden; and sister, Melissa.
