Lindsay Marie Alcaraz

Lindsay Marie Alcaraz, aged 34, peacefully passed away at home on September 10, 2023, in San Diego, California. Lindsay was born on September 1, 1989, in Merced, California. She had lived in San Diego for the last 5 years and enjoyed a life filled with love, kindness, and compassion. She enjoyed taking walks on the beach with her dog, gardening at home, and the beautiful weather of San Diego.

Lindsay is survived by her father, David J. Alcaraz, and her mother, Lori Pareira-Alcaraz. She leaves behind her brother, Ryan D. Alcaraz, and sister-in-law, Stella Alcaraz, who reside in South Korea.

Lindsay had a close-knit extended family, including her aunts and uncles; Lloyd & Babette Pareira, Al & Kathy Zapien, Sandy & Peggy Mahy, Ed & Angela Alcaraz, Ray Valenzuela, Bob Valenzuela. She also leaves behind many cherished cousins.

Lindsay was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Lloyd H. & Marilyn J. Pareira, and James G. & Dora Alcaraz. Their loving memories will forever be cherished.

Lindsay received her education at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic School for primary schooling. She was a member of OLM Lancers 4-H and played sports. She attended and graduated from Golden Valley High School. She continued her academic pursuits at Merced College and Fresno State.

Lindsay received the sacraments of initiation while attending St. Patricks Catholic Church in Merced.

Lindsay's career was in healthcare counseling, where she made a positive impact on the lives of many. Her dedication and compassion was evident in her work, and she will be remembered for her commitment to helping others.

The funeral will be private at the request of the family. A celebration of life to honor Lindsay's memory, will be held at a later date. Please keep Lindsay and her grieving family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Lindsay Marie Alcaraz will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, caring heart, unwavering spirit, and her dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of others. May she find eternal peace and rest in the arms of the angels.
