Linda Diane Herring

Linda was born in San Diego, CA on October 10th, 1965. After graduating from Mira Mesa High, she started a family and raised three beautiful daughters. Linda was a very devoted mom, grandma (ba), and daughter. She was a big animal lover and had a fondness for pugs. Linda loved adventures with her grandkids such as fishing, beach trips collecting shells and outings to buy them toys. A perfect day for Linda was spending time at the beach surrounded by all her family. She found the beauty and joy in the simple things in life.

Linda is survived by her parents, Sharron and Sam Mankins; her daughters, Brooke, Krystal and Kaylaa; her seven grandchildren; and her siblings Lisa Bybee, Jeff Mankins, and Laura Mankins. She will be laid to rest with her brother Michael Baker and sister Tamara Baker, who have called her home.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Many thanks to everyone for the kind words, visits and special moments that were such a comfort to her in her final stages. She endured so much this last year and we are very grateful God gave us the time we had with her.

A visitation for Linda will be held Friday, July 3, 2020 from 1:30PM to 2:00PM. A funeral service will occur Friday, July 3, 2020 at 2:00 PM, followed by her burial. All services will occur at El Camino Memorial Park, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, California 92121.
