Julio Alberto Arroyo, age 79, of San Diego, California passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023. He was born on May 1, 1943 in Puerto Rico as the sixth child to parents Julio and Juanita. Julio grew up in Puerto Rico until he moved to New York as a teenager. He graduated from high school in Brooklyn, New York in 1963.Julio was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He loved traveling, politics, history, dancing and the arts.
Julio was preceded in death by his parents , his sisters Doris and Neida, his brothers Tony and Victor, and most tragically by his oldest son, Daniel who passed away in 2006. Julio is survived by his sons Nicholas and Marc, their mother, Vivian, as well as his siblings Chu, Ceci, Julie and Edwin.
